Welcome to the Upper Valley
The Upper Valley is a diverse collection of communities located in both New Hampshire and Vermont. Historically most Upper Valley towns where settled in the mid 1700’s and consisted of farms and mill towns. You can still find working farms scattered throughout the Upper Valley however most of the old mills have evolved into modern office complexes housing the Upper Valleys newest industry “Technology”. Dartmouth College, located in Hanover, NH and the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital located in Lebanon, NH continually put the Upper Valley in the forefront of new technologies and innovation. Year round out door recreational opportunities abound throughout the Upper Valley, from swimming & hiking to skiing and snowmobiling there’s something for everyone in your family.
